2 lbs Ground round
1 onion, chopped
1 bell pepper, chopped
3 stalks celery, chopped
2 tablespoons butter
10 to 12 leftover biscuits
1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon onion powder
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon black pepper
2 cups ketchup
3 eggs
In a skillet add the butter and melt over medium high heat. Saute
the onion, pepper, and celery and cook for about 5 minutes. In a large bowl add
the ground beef, sauted vegetables, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper,
and 1 cup ketchup and crumbled biscuits. In a small bowl beat the eggs well and
add to the ground beef mix well with hands to combine. In a baking dish place
the beef mixture and pat flat. Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 1
hour. Remove the foil and add the remaining 1 cup ketchup and return to the
oven for an additional 20 to 30 minutes. Serve with mashed potatoes.
